Ray Gutierrez

Pastor Ray was born and raised in Tarija, Bolivia. He graduated from medical school in La Paz, Bolivia in 2006, and the following year he married Angeles and moved to Brownsville. Even though Ray is bilingual today, he didn’t start learning English until he moved to Texas in 2007. Ray and Angeles served at a church in Matamoros for many years, but, by the grace of God, God led them to join and help establish Resaca City Church in 2020. These past couple years have been a wonderful time of growth for Ray and Angeles, and God has raised them to be excellent leaders at our church. Ray has three wonderful daughters and a devoted wife, and in his free time you can find him cooking, building, learning, or serving.
