Nathan Forbes

Pastor Nathan was born and raised in Dallas, TX. After graduating from Texas A&M University, he and his wife, Rebekah, lived and worked in Guatemala serving at a Christian orphanage. When they returned to Texas, Nathan worked as a middle school teacher and owned a lawn service before coming on staff as the Missions & Community Pastor at New Life Baptist Church. In 2017, Nathan and Rebekah moved to the Valley to be trained further in cross-cultural church-planting and during those years, they developed various friendships which gave them a desire to plant a gospel-centered church that trains disciple-makers in the Rio Grande Valley. Nathan and Rebekah have three children. You can catch Nathan playing basketball, spending time with his family, and making disciple-makers in the community. His dream is to see the Valley filled with churches full of servant-hearted disciple-makers.
